From what I read.. you need to make your file a .php

Unless you did this.. anytime I get an error message I have never seen before.. I copy the exact text and, using quotes!!, paste the error in google. You definitely aren't the first person to have the error... so you'll almost always be able to find something like 8000 solutions from google.
