I totally understand looking for the cheapest deal.... but to me there's a lot of factors besides price..... particularly if it's something you actually NEED....

A few years ago, a camera purchased at Best Buy failed when I was using it on a job, and Best Buy took it back, and upgraded me on the spot --the original camera was about three months old when it failed.... The replacement is GREAT... it was a significant upgrade... been using it for close to three years --I love it.

No hassle... which was great because the camera failed on a day I needed to shoot photo's for work, and I was over 100 miles from the Best Buy I originally purchased from when it broke..... I stilll had to drive, but finding a store 25 miles from where I was saved the day from being a complete loss (with a 200 mile round trip involved, that would have to be done TWICE)

I bet I could have saved $20 on the original camera if I had really shopped around and bought on the web, but with the failure and then having to ship it somewhere --time lost, and a second 200 mile trip-- it would have cost me $$$$ in my pocket......

So was it worth the extra $20 I spent?... on that day, to me, it definitely was....

YMMV....
