Apart from using these social networking sites as ways to unwind for a short periods of time, they can be great sites for improving your business' marketing strategies. So yes, I suppose it's not bad to give them some time during breaks to do personal stuff and to not consider blocking these sites. If you're too apprehensive with providing these privileges because your employees might be abusing the free internet access during work, then you might consider putting up an effective system to
monitor employee internet usage. But still, providing adequate personal internet privileges might make your employees rejuvenated a bit.
