Default Re: How old were you when you started?

IMHO there are so many younger students out there that want to learn Photoshop, but just don't have the money to get the software. I myself was only able to afford a copy once I got to college and they discount it like mad for college students. I truly believe that there should be some sort of system like this for kids in High School. Photoshop is in essence the de facto standard in image manipulation and I believe it would be a great help for their business to essentially "hook" kids by giving them greatly discounted copies in high school. This way once they entered the workforce everyone would know photoshop and it would be further ingrained as the industry standard. I realize that this system has the potential for abuse by parents buying student copies, or other relatives, but so does the discounted college copy. Just my two cents on something the frustrated me during high school. There should be no point where a student has to make a decision between a powerbook...and a program to run on it... Anyone else have a take on this?
